I am very grateful towards Mr Lai, as he has been really patient with me. I had weak physics foundation, and have never imagined myself to get an A for H2 physics as I didn’t obtain an A for O level physics. After Mr Lai teaches a concept, he creates and asks a question to test our understanding on that particular concept. This really helped me solidify my foundation for the various topics. Mr Lai is an excellent physics teacher who not only helped me improve my grades, but also cultivated interest in the subject. I was doing quite poorly getting a 2.8 grade point average for physics, but soon after joining Physics Academy in sec 3, my grades started improving to a 4.0 by the start of sec 4!

Then, although struggling a little initially at Raffles Institution, thanks to Mr Lai’s clear and elaborate way of teaching in physics tuition centre, I almost immediately started doing well and ultimately scored an A at the A levels! At the Physics Academy, Mr Lai has many tools such as the online tests and video lessons which helped our learning further and ensured our understanding in each of the concepts. He also provides us with the ‘Physics Bible’ which consists of questions and answers prepared by Mr Lai. Many of the questions in this Physics Bible appears in the A level paper which thus helps us score better in the A level exams.
