When I first joined Mr Lai's class, I was unsure of many Physics concepts and didn't understand how to answer many commonly asked exam questions. Mr Lai helped me to understand more difficult concepts which my teacher wasn't able to clarify in class and had online videos which allowed me to learn even outside class. The notes given were comprehensive and had many practice questions for me to test my understanding of the particular concept. Mr Lai was able to answer any questions that I had and explained the concept to me thoroughly. Thanks to him, I managed to get an A for my exams.
I really enjoyed Mr Lai's teaching methods as he would intentionally give us difficult questions for us to solve so that we would be able to understand physics, not memorise it.
Mr Lai is a dedicated and very engaging teacher who never fails to make physics lessons interesting for us. Whenever I need help with certain physics concepts, Mr Lai would always use real life examples or experiments to help us understand these concepts. To enhance our understanding on some physics topics, Mr Lai would also test us on advanced questions to ensure that we are well versed in the topics.
